NetDecision 4.8 Release Notes
The latest release of NetDecision (4.8) is now available. This release includes new features as well as enhancements and bug fixes.
TrapVision
- TrapVision now supports customizable Device Identification based on IP address and port of SNMP trap originator. The Device ID is the user-friendly name of the device/equipment. The Device ID helps technicians identify the device easily.
- Special characters in URL (spaces, etc) are now properly handled in Web Service trap handler.
Network Manager
- Special characters in URL (spaces, etc) are now properly handled in Web Service trap handler.
LogVision
- Special characters in URL (spaces, etc) are now properly handled in Web Service message handler.
Traffic Grapher
- Some minor bugs related to value handling have been fixed.
- The configuration of Web Service value handler now gets stored in configuration file.
- Special characters in URL (spaces, etc) are now properly handled in Web Service value handler.
MIB Manager
- OBJECT IDENTIFIERs can now be exported to HTML.
- XML namespace attribute has been removed when exporting to HTML file.
- Special characters are now properly handled when exporting to HTML.
- Some minor bugs related to MODULE-IDENTITY parsing have been fixed.
