Remote Management Console - new
TrapVision Management Console is no longer supported. New application has been developed as a replacement - "Remote
Management Console" and now supports/manages the following applications: TrapVision and LogVision (remote administration
and web reporting)
TrapVision
- Overall application performance has been improved (TrapVision is now capable to process 290 traps per minute or 5 traps per
seconds)
- GUI performance has been significantly enhanced (GUI table is now capable to keep millions of traps)
- "Easy Handler" - one click SNMP trap handling setup
- Improved Email Handler
- Automatic acknowledgement is now supported (based on user defined rules)
- Acknowledge/Delete custom handling is now supported (based on user defined rules)
- Aging implemented - automatic clear of outdated/aged traps based on user defined rules
- Improved MIB resolving (OID to name translation)
- Copy/Paste for Trap Handlers
- IP to name resolving (using DNS) is now supported
- Trap Details window enhanced (more attributes added - MIB file reference, Aging attributes, ...)
- Auto save improved
- Web reporting optimized (file footprint reduced, generation time reduced)
- "Clear outdated/aged traps in DB manually" functionality has been added
- PDU Tracing option is now disabled by default
LogVision
- Message details window has been added
- Quick Reports window has been added

- Http Server now supports (processes) HTTP POST requests variables
